The Pentagon is stopping the delivery of the F-35 fighter jets after finding the materials inside one of the jet’s magnets were made in China.

The F-35’s manufacturer, Lockheed Martin raised the alarm about one component inside the engine, which offers power to the jet’s engine-mounted generator.

The Chinese-made part goes against U.S. defence protocols.

While the alloy used in the integrated power package doesn’t pose a security threat, the U.S. has already found a new source of materials.

The F-35 is one of the most advanced jets on the planet, and the U.S. has hundreds of these across its Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps.

An investigation is underway into the matter.

Mass grave discovered in Ukraine containing over 400 bodies

The price of war is beginning to reveal itself in Ukraine as a mass grave, with over 400 bodies has been discovered in the recently liberated Kharkiv region.

The burial site was found in the city of Izyum, an area captured by Russian forces at the beginning of the war, and a victim to ultimate brutality.

Over recent days, Ukrainian forces have recaptured the area. So far, they have discovered over 1000 bodies in the city, with this number rising every day.

The mass grave site shows the extent of Russia’s atrocities, although Russia denies responsibility.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is launching an investigation and says “Russia leaves death everywhere and it must be held accountable for that.”

London Heathrow will change 15 per cent of its schedule as the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II gets underway on Monday local time.

Authorities are seeking to minimise disruptions and noise as thousands are expected to pay their respects to the late monarch.

“Operations to and from the airport will be subject to appropriate changes in order to avoid noise disruption at certain locations at specific times on Monday,” a spokesperson for London Heathrow Airport said.

The airport has also confirmed there will be no aircraft flying for 30 minutes as a period of silence takes place during the procession.

Some flights will also be diverted during the family’s private service, which is scheduled for later in the day.

“As a mark of respect, operations to and from the airport will be subject to appropriate changes in order to avoid noise disruption at certain locations at specific times on Monday.”

National carrier British Airways says 50 short-haul flights will be affected, while four flights from Virgin Atlantic won’t run either.

“Airlines are supporting the ceremonial aspects for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral at Westminster Abbey and the committal service at Windsor Castle on Monday,” the spokesperson added.

There are seperate security arrangements in place, including the use of private jets for world leaders.

The Queen’s funeral will be a time for world leaders to come together, put their differences aside, and pay their respects. However, anger is brewing about China’s invite to the historic event.

China’s Xi Jinping is on the guest list, but is not expected to make an appearance. Instead, his Vice-President will likely take his place.

However, some UK Members of Parliament have expressed their concerns about the Chinese Government’s invitation in the first place.

In a letter to the foreign Secretary, Senior Tories have called for the invite to be withdrawn.

The letter reads “It’s extraordinary that the architects of genocide against the Uyghur minority have been invited.”

However, representatives from Russia, Belarus and Myanmar have not been invited.
