It is designed for micro dosing of powders with volumes from 1 to 25 mg, and is perfectly suited for processing extremely expensive powders, with low residual volumes in the hopper of 5 mg. The drum dosing system will process highly cohesive materials such as micronized powders and pure API, which significantly reduces formulation time in early stage development.

Powders can be dosed into a variety of containers such as hard shell capsules, pre-formed blisters, vials, devices, etc. The drum dosing technology can be easily scaled up to larger machines such as the OmniDose Lab Filler and the Modu-C capsule filling machine. Fill results and size part volumes defined with the OmniDose TT correlate directly to these larger models.
