A new licensing regime for non-surgical cosmetic procedures should be brought in by July 2023 to prevent vulnerable people being exploited, say a cross party group of MPs.

In a report published on 2 August the House of Commons Health and Social Care Committee identified a rise in body image dissatisfaction as the driver behind increasing demand for procedures such as dermal fillers.1
